I don’t know about you, but I’ve been thinking about flowers, fruits, veggies, and sprouts a lot these days. I’m even looking forward to green grass.
Dave and I are selling our CSA shares and getting excited for the new season.
So, why would you want to get a CSA share of flowers?
One great reason is because it’ll save you between $2-$5 per bouquet. You get 10 bouquets, one per week, for only $100. The same bouquets that we will be selling at the farmer’s market and the farmstand will retail between $12-$15.
And this year we are growing a much larger variety of beautiful and fragrant flowers. More joy to bring into your home.
Also, CSA members get first priority, so we won’t run out of flowers for you.
And, you are helping to secure the future of organic farming in the Valley by paying up front and helping us defray costs before the season kicks into gear. A win-win situation for everyone.
Don’t forget that you can also purchase a CSA share of fruits and veggies. Unlike every other CSA model, Dave lets you choose your price AND you get to select what you want to spend your CSA dollars on. Don’t like rutabagas? You don’t have to get them. You can even spend all of your CSA dollars on pick your own strawberries, blueberries or raspberries. You decide.
Every other farm seems to have CSA shares that start at about $375 and up for two people, and the farmer chooses what you get each week. Not at Hartshorn’s. We let you decide.
You can mail a check to: Hartshorn Farm/Amy’s Organic Flowers, P.O. Box 1785, Waitsfield, VT 05673, or you can pay by credit card: http://greenlivingnow.com/products/food/flowercsa.htm
If it’s for the flower CSA, please specify “”flowers” on your check.
