Organic gardening class tomorrow from 10-11:30am

Organic gardening class tomorrow at Hartshorn Farm, 10-11:30 with Green Living Expert and Organic Farmer, Amy Todisco.

Using our new labyrinth garden as the working landscape, we’ll explore how to successfully grow vegetables and annual flowers organically. This will be an interactive session where both beginning and experienced gardeners will be able to ask all sorts of questions and share ideas to learn from one another and me. As a 20+ year backyard organic gardener, turned organic farmer 4 years ago, I have a lot of tips to share with some green living information sprinkled in.

Topics include: Choosing seed varieties, growing seedlings and transplanting tips, frost and sun protection, crop rotation, companion planting, natural fertilizers, and more.
